Background
Cleansing Water has been in business since 1997 and is owned and operated by Bob and Marsha Grant. Bob has been in the management field for over 30 years and has a masters degree in theology. Marsha serves as our President and has over 30 years of nursing experience and over 18 years of home health care experience. Marsha holds a B.S. in nursing, a master of arts in theology and she and Bob are currently pursuing a doctorate degree in theology. Cleansing Water is a firm founded upon Christian values, and we strive to service anyone who is in need of our services. Our name references the biblical Pool of Bethesda, a place of healing and restoration. Meeting the needs of the whole person… body, mind and spirit.
Licensure
 Cleansing Water, Inc. is licensed through the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health. Our license # is HCO-09262 and is renewed on an annual basis. Due to previous compliance and successful audits, Cleansing Water has gone from an annual audit to having full field audits performed by the Department of Health every two years. The audits are complete and thorough in scope and may require confirmation of licenses of our staff, acknowledgment of background checks, complete signed nursing notes for skilled clients, signed caregiver notes that are all reviewed by our Nursing Supervisor. Contracts may also be reviewed to ensure compliance with the specifics of our care plans and review of educational topics to ensure yearly continuing credits are achieved. These audits are un-announced and are considered a valuable tool that keeps licensed Home Health Care companies in compliance with the State regulations and ultimately provide assurance to our clients.

Dear Marsha Grant,
I used to be editor-in-chief of Reader's Digest, but I find it hard to find the words that properly convey the depth of my appreciation to Cleansing Water for carrying me through an extraordinarily difficult period.
You worked with my surgeon to develop a recovery plan, and when recovery headed south, you brought a host of assets into play for healing. In the end, you were the recovery plan. I say healing–because that is what Cleansing Water does. For more than a month, you were with me daily, and looking back, I do not believe I would be well without your care.
